On Friday during ACM rehearsals Eric and his longtime manager John Peets, were surprised back stage with the award for Video of the Year for the music video for "Mr. Misunderstood."

The video was co-directed by Eric's manager John and videographer Reid Long and featured McKinley James, who was also on the cover of "Mr. Misunderstood." Watch the surprise below!
