HIGHWAYS FESTIVAL RETURNS TO THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL IN 2025, WITH ERIC CHURCH HEADLINING BOTH DAYS
London, UK – January 27, 2025— Live Nation Entertainment and the Royal Albert Hall are thrilled to announce the return of the Highways in 2025. Building on the success of previous editions, Highways 2025 will take place over two unforgettable days on Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17, 2025, featuring two exclusive European solo performances by the multi-award-winning Eric Church alongside special guests Molly Tuttle, Caylee Hammack and Bella White with more artists to be announced across the festival.
Eric Church, a seven-time ACM Award winner, four-time CMA Award winner (including the 2020 Entertainer of the Year), and 10-time GRAMMY nominee, will headline the festival with his acclaimed residency show, "To Beat The Devil." This storytelling-driven live experience, previously only ever performed at his Nashville venue Chief’s, promises an intimate and electrifying journey through Church’s artistry. Fans can expect a unique blend of heartfelt narratives and high-energy performances highlighting why Eric Church remains a leading force within the genre.
This will be the first and only time the residency of ‘To Beat The Devil’ will travel to Europe from Chief’s, his newly opened six-story establishment on Nashville’s iconic Lower Broadway. This residency underscores Church's commitment to creating unique and memorable experiences for his fans in the US and internationally. Highways Festival 2025 offers an unparalleled opportunity for Country and Americana enthusiasts to witness a star-studded lineup of top artists performing in the prestigious and historic Royal Albert Hall auditorium. Each night will feature a variety of artists showcasing the genres and dedicated events in the intimate Elgar Room. The event is hosted by Baylen Leonard, the vibrant voice of Absolute Radio Country's Americana and Roots show, The Front Porch, and a two-time CMA International Broadcaster of the Year. Leonard's expertise and passion for the genre ensure that Highways Festival 2025 celebrates music, storytelling, and community like no other.
Live Nation’s Senior Vice President of Touring, Anna-Sophie Mertens, says: “Our third edition of Highways is set to be a special occasion not to be missed with Eric Church, one of Nashville’s greats, headlining both nights. His acclaimed residency will make history at Highways as the only time we get to see this show in Europe and there isn’t a venue more fitting to experience this than the Royal Albert Hall. I am also delighted to welcome the enormously talented Molly Tuttle, Caylee Hammack and Bella White on the bill along with a final fourth act, which we cannot yet reveal, but I can confirm it will be their first-ever UK performance. We will also see the return of our hugely popular series of intimate events in the Elgar Room including Country for Kids, the Songwriter’s Round and our Late Night Specials.”
Matthew Todd, Director of Programming at the Royal Albert Hall, says: “We are delighted to be bringing Highways back to the Hall for a third year and are thrilled to have Eric Church headlining the festival for two nights. Highways has quickly become a staple in the UK’s country and Americana calendar, and there is no better venue for those genres than the Hall, which has been hosting country concerts since the days of Johnny Cash.”
