It has to be in the genes! My daughter loves singing all his songs but Hometown is her favorite! : ) She just loves listening to his CD in the car. My husband and I are also huge fans of his. One of our first dates was at Joes Bar in Chicago to see Eric play back in '09! He needs to come back to Joes soon! Can't wait to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday with Eric at his Peoria concert!! We love you!!!
Let me just say I was extremely blessed and lucky to have received a meet and greet, followed by a letter from Eric to choose a song to play in the Ville, as well as pit passes for our group. We had an absolute blast and enjoyed every second of such an amazing concert. Little did I know that my favorite song on the list- Ain't Killed Me Yet- was going to be a difficult one for Eric to remember the lyrics to- lol- but I will say they still pulled it off as great as I imagined. A friend of mine got the whole thing on video so I will share for those who didn't get to see it, or want to see it again (i.e. myself, lol), or if any of Eric's band sees this I hope they get a good laugh. Thanks to everyone for such a wonderful night to remember as it was a difficult day for my husband and me- our cat got very sick and we ended up having to say goodbye to him today, but it helped get our mind off of everything. Amazing to go from planting trees in a tiny park with someone to watching him sell out arenas 7 years later.
